Re-Upload. No, I am NOT a thief. I switched accounts, and you can verify that with my original if you want. Thanks for the concern, though.
Original Description Read:
Promise broken; stupidity continues. I just had to drive my point home, and the hair comments just don't stop coming despite the fact that they're so old. Besides, it's been months since my last comic upload, or any decent upload, for that matter. This one should've been submitted a long time ago because it's an old idea. Sorry it's not exactly funny. I phail at all things humorous. Just shoot me, now.
OMG NOSES!11one1!! Wtf...
---- Begin Long Description ----
Yeah, so this is the result of a bunch of quick and random doodles that I did during one of my volunteer assignments at SDCC last week and smushed together on a giant Photoshop canvas. Pardon the crappy, rushed sketchiness/drawings/line art and colouring, but picking up a pencil and drawing "all pretty" isn't the first thing on my "to do" list at seven o' clock in the morn.
Apologies if I offend any Meng fans - She actually just got on my nerves, though I almost liked her after her speech to Aang... until she called Katara a "floozie" under her breath at the end of the episode. Plus, for the age group, I think Toph is cuter. I don't count characters who aren't even slightly developed in my tally, as well.
Sorry if this one runs a bit long. I know that the random inserts and comments, as well as the length, ruin the flow of the comic, buuuuttt... I was working on several comics at the same time and would switch between them. Every time I'd come back to one, I'd, out of some caffeine kick (I'd probably taken 200mg) or spurt of randomness, decide to insert a randomly crazy doodle or comment or even a whole new panel. Hence the style changes throughout the comic and the gradual sloppiness/laziness of the pictures. Aaand... I just don't feel like redoing it all to match the original idea in my head.
Oh, and I realize the Sokka here contradicts the insecure Sokka from the other comics. I'm only considering this part of the other ones' series because it has to do with hair. X_x This was a completely independent idea, though. Ah, and I almost included Toph in the list of girls who like Sokka, but she can't exactly see his hairstyle -- Unless... That's all part of the power of the SOKKA 'DO!!! You don't actually have to see it... Maybe it smells good. Hrm... *ponders this*
More random comics to come. I'll probably upload another one tomorrow. I should also note that these panels weren't actually drawn in order or anything. They were randomly doodled on separate pages, so the extra time putting them together would also contribute to the gap between uploads. I'm a very lazy person. Sorry about that! :3
Drew this one in a different style than the last ones. If you prefer the old doodles better, just let me know, and I'll make sure to use it for future comics. :3
No crits, please. Noting everything wrong with this would be far too time-consuming, and I'm aware that this is one big deviation of PHAILURE!!!
----End Long Description----
Prize for the first person who can name all the characters in the last panel (That's not hard, though) X3 CONTEST WON! :3 Sowwy!
And, YES, there WAS a rainbow spitting out Skittles in that cave. Just because you don't remember, doesn't mean it wasn't there. Nyeah...
[EDIT] Sorry...Changed the file so that chibi Aang at the bottom reflects Season III changes and has hair. If you, however, prefer bald, pre-Season III Aang as opposed to Chia Pet Aang, despite being obviously flawed, let me know and I'll change it back. :3[/EDIT]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
