Report a Policy Violation
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Artist's CommentsCan I get your hand to write on Wanted to give a sort of different meaning to this song that's not about getting "high."  Thought I'd upload this while I had the chance... Not the full sketch, but I cropped the messier part off.I know, I know... Kataang art from ME? And serious art, nonetheless. What can I say? Old inspiration found me again. Done yesterday evening while watching the Olympics. This will be the first in a series of music-inspired sketches (and hopefully fully coloured pictures when I get my computer fixed up). You know that old Zutara animation I was working on last year? Well, there was actually a Kataang counterpart to it that I was going to work on, as well. This was the song that inspired it (Although I did initially think of drugs when I first listened to this song way back when  ). There are certain parts that just make me think 'Kataang.' To a few certain people, I do still like Zutara. But I do like other ships too, and I can't help what ideas pop into my head. So, yeah... I also realize that, although most of the people on my watch list favour Zutara, there are also quite a few people who don't. They never complain when I upload my comics and they put up with all my Zutarian whining and shenanigans. Well, I want to dedicate this to those people. Thanks for watching me, and thanks for being there for me when I need it  'Kay, now enough of that mushy stuff. I've got many, many more ships to cover - both canon and fanon. I should hope to cover all of them, or the most popular ones at least. If you've got a song suggestion for a ship, please share! Occasionally, I run into a brick wall and can't find a good song to use. I wanted to draw this series more in my style, since I seem to be growing too dependent on the Avatar style. Yes, they're supposed to be a little older, but I kept the outfits from the finale 'cause I like them. Um... Oh, and the designs weren't drawn in because I plan to colour them in. Sorry that the pose, anatomy, etc... are all... um... reaaaally bad. Yeah, we'll go with that. Please forgive my lack of creativity  I might make some revisions to this before I colour in the final product, but please feel free to try your hand at colouring this if you wish! Stupid music and it's ship manipulating powers - I've been meaning to draw a Kataang pic to Colbie Caillat's song, "Oxygen." It's just the first set of lyrics:
